Naked & Clothed. Two sides. Different stories.
That’s the whole point of this blog- to be able to show you two different sides of the same story. There are thousands of blogs out there. All of them are with a story to tell and all of them are #goals. They’re all the same but not exactly. I don’t want to be the same and I don’t want to be different—I just want to be relatable.
I was having a hard time drafting this entry which was supposedly published a week ago. I just couldn’t find the right words. Then I came across this article titled “The Urban Poor You Haven’t Noticed: Millennials Who’re Broke, Hungry, But On Trend” and everything that I wanted to put into words was already spoken. And it gave me an idea. I’ve been meaning to ask you, how do you live your life? Can you still identify the real world vs. the social media world? In the age that we are now today, dominated by people with a different view in life, millennials as how they call us, how do you keep up?
The other side of MY story is this: Sometimes, you don’t need to keep up. I’ve always believed that life is not a race, so live it at your own pace. And no, being a blogger doesn’t necessary mean wearing the most expensive clothes or dining at the most expensive restaurants all day, every day. Other times, it includes a 20 dirham bill and a whole lot of creativity to make things work.
So here it is! My first entry to my blog series called #20DirhamChallenge.
